I love Paris and Sheffield!

Well, a few things have happened since my last post. A wonderful trip to the beautiful Paris to cheer on moh (my other half!) running the marathon and to celebrate a little birthday of mine! Also spent yesterday at Sharrow Vale road market running my stall.

First to Paris. What can I say but ooohhhh (la la)! It was stunning. We managed to find a lovely little hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the centre along side a market street. The markets oozed charm and character and some of the best foods I've tasted. In fact, we pretty much ate our way around paris!

I was very restrained in my fabric purchases, but the choice was fantastic. There are so many lovely fabric shops in Montmartre it made me a bit giddy!

Yesterday I was helped by the whole family at the Sharrow Vale Road market, a place close to my heart after spending much of my student days here. The rain held off for pretty much most of the afternoon, apart from 5 minutes from the end! Still, with my trusty little helpers we managed to get everything away in record time and only had to dry out a couple of things at home!

So, I am now putting my energies into the next fair - Mary's marvellous vintage and craft market on Bramall Lane, Saturday 5th May.  I love this fair. There is so much variety. All the money made from it goes back into the community which is just great.

Well, I didn't mean to ramble on for so long, so sorry!! Better get crafting.

Catch you soon x x

what am I doing?!

Well, this is all a bit new to me but here goes, my first blog post!!
I read loads of great blogs, so thought I might give it a go myself, not sure how great mine will be, but hey!
I tend to leave all the techno things to my other half, he's so good at it and he's usually happy to help. But that can't continue, I need to keep up with the world!
So, here it is - hopefully I'll get the hang of all this, maybe even add some photos, have a little chat with you all, show you what I've been making, and try not to bore you too much!

See you soon
